About Chef Logan
Logan Niles is a chef, entrepreneur, and mother. Trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Logan has worked as a private chef throughout Manhattan plus founded and ran Blue Nile Catering, an upscale private catering company in New York City for 10 years before becoming as a culinary consultant and wellness coach at her company Mind Over Manna and Blue Nile Consulting. As a mom, she knows how challenging it can be for families to cook and eat together. Motivated by a passion for health and the nourishing power of delicious food that brings communities together, she began crafting pot pies as a Josephine.com chef in 2016.
"I like the lack of stress involved in creating comfort food. There's a lot of room for creativity and fun, with endless variations; plus it's also a complete meal. I didn't realize how many people love pot pies until I started this, which made it that much more exciting! When I tell people what I do, 98% tell me "I LOVE pot pies!", which makes me so happy to bring them a better alternative to what's currently on the market.
Considering our current political climate, I'm deeply invested in taking this American classic and adding in all of the international and cultural flavors that make this great nation of ours a true "Melting Pot". At the end of the day, we all have so much in common when it comes to food, life, and our collective dreams"
